Provoke Hope

in Hope, Joy, Peace on 13/01/15

I am learning this four letter word in a new way this year. I promise I will put the letters back, but I want to unpack this small word with big impact.

H – Hope comes from healing. Nothing quite evokes hope more than the process of healing a broken heart. The loss is the same, but by restoring yourself hope allows you light on even the darkest days.

O – Hope is seen in the opportunities life offers us. Each day we have a choice in how to spend our day through the actions we take. Even in the midst of a bad day, have you considered your trial a joy? The trial you are facing may be just the opportunity necessary to experience God in a life changing way.

P – Hope is in our passion. Our heart issues walk a fine line between hope and hopelessness. At our core, what we desire is fueled by our hope. Nothing can fill a heart faster with hope than steps towards achieving a dream.

E – Hope is empathy. From the top of the highest mountain to the lowest valley; understanding the journey you are on reveals a beautiful love relationship between yourself and your Creator who woos your heart in each step. Placing your hope in Him, you see the valleys as training exercises for you to be encouraged and comforted that brings a peace and joy which supersedes your circumstance. Continuing with your training, you will rise to new heights and there your hope puts your perspective into focus.

Having your hope in the Lord, your heart’s desires are honed to His. In His perfect plan for you, you will see hope in every day in every way because hope is love. It is promised love always wins, so have hope – you will triumph.

James 1:2-4 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
